For instance, if the place has a windy climate, it is better to choose the metal base which is heavier than the other two and thus will effectively hold the flag straight. 

The teardrop banner is also known as feather flag banner, bow banner, surf banner and blade banner. There may be more names by which this type of banner is identified.  The aerial banners are actually installed behind a small aircraft which is made to fly over a small height. The aircraft is allowed to fly over a pre-approved area with the banner flowing behind it. It is evident that whenever we listen to the voice of an aircraft, we surely look up to see it. Thus we will also notice the flag and the brand name written over it which is why the production firms are using this as a medium for advertising their product.
